From the first steps in 2001 to a powerful infrastructure in 2025 \u2014 the path of RX-NAME development<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Time flies unnoticed. It feels like just yesterday we were discussing our first steps in the vast world of the internet \u2014 our first registered domains, our first attempts, our first dreams. Looking back at how it all began, we see a small team of enthusiasts, a few servers in a rented cabinet, and a great desire to make the internet more accessible to everyone. Much has changed since then, but one thing has remained constant: we work for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Exactly 24 years ago, RX\u2011NAME<\/a> took its first confident step into the domain world. On May 1, 2001, our first domain, rx-name.net, was registered \u2014 and, as they say, the journey began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can we best capture the spirit of that May day? Perhaps in the words of our founder, Oleksii Provornyi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever been so passionate about an idea that you left a barbecue for just a few clicks? On May 1, 2001, that\u2019s exactly what I did. While others were preparing dinner outdoors, I was registering domain rx-name.net \u2014 and that\u2019s how RX\u2011NAME, one of Ukraine\u2019s first domain registrars, and the very first in Southern Ukraine, was born.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Within just a few months, orders started pouring in, and with them, our ambitions grew. Soon, hosting services were added to domain registration<\/a>, the team expanded with talented specialists, and we realized we needed more space \u2014 both physical and technological.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years passed, client expectations grew, and we sought ways to exceed them. In 2005, we introduced dedicated server rentals through our project server.com.ua, and in 2007, we launched the SERVER.UA<\/a> brand. Then, in 2011, we made a decision many only dream of: to build our own data center. Imagine a building where every kilowatt, every cable, every cooling system is under our control. Though we had no prior experience in data center construction, we had already gained valuable experience in reaching goals. And we did it: we studied countless documents, consulted experts, and quickly gained hands-on knowledge in construction. This was a pivotal moment in our journey, allowing us to ensure stability even in the most challenging conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of 2015, the construction of our very own SERVER.UA data center was complete \u2014 marking yet another milestone. Beyond our well-known hosting and domain services, we now offered dedicated server <\/a>rentals, colocation of servers and networking equipment, and powerful VPS solutions<\/a>. Each new client, each project entrusted to our care, strengthened our resolve. We knew we were moving in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, May 1, 2025 \u2014 RX\u2011NAME celebrates its 24th anniversary. For us, this is not just another date on the calendar, but the culmination of thousands of hours of hard work, hundreds of completed projects, and, most importantly, your unwavering support and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the past four years have tested us like never before. As the situation in Ukraine intensified, our data center found itself at the heart of events \u2014 four times, rockets fell nearby. Each time the walls shook from the blasts, windows shattered, and ceilings collapsed, our team stood firm.
We repaired the damage in the dead of night, safeguarded the servers, and ensured your websites remained online without a single minute of downtime. Our diesel generator worked at full capacity, constantly powering on and off. We overcame \u2014 and will continue to overcome \u2014 every challenge, so our services remain stable, and our clients sleep soundly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
