We have important news regarding domain registration in certain regional Ukrainian zones.
Starting from May 1, 2024, updated rules aimed at harmonizing the Ukrainian domain space with international standards will come into effect. In order to comply with the transliteration of the Ukrainian language into the Latin alphabet, changes will be made to the registration of new domains, specifically – the possibility of registering new domains in certain zones will be discontinued:
- kmelnitskiy.ua
- chernigov.ua
- chernovtsy.ua
- rovno.ua
- kirovograd.ua
From next month, they will only be available for registration in Ukrainian transliteration:
- khmelnytskyi.ua
- chernihiv.ua
- chernivtsi.ua
- rivne.ua
- kropyvnytskyi.ua
Please note that all current operations with existing domains, such as renewal, transfer, and restoration from deletion, remain unchanged. You will be able to continue managing your domains as before, without any additional restrictions.
