May 1 for the RX-NAME team is not just another mark on the calendar. Exactly a quarter of a century ago, we started working in the domain and hosting market. Over these 25 years, numbers have faded into the background, giving way to real experience: thousands of launched projects and the main principle – to ensure stability despite any external circumstances.

How it all started

In 2001, the industry looked different. The entire asset at that time consisted of one registered domain, several servers, and the belief that the market needed a service that does not “go down” at a critical moment. Back then, no one operated with the concept of global scale. We simply wanted to give clients a reliable platform for their first websites. It was this first trust that became the foundation on which the entire company later grew.

Evolution over a quarter century

The path from registering the first names to creating comprehensive business solutions required constant adaptation. The market dictated new rules, and RX-NAME evolved accordingly: we built our own infrastructure and launched a data center. What once relied on the efforts of a small group of enthusiasts turned into the work of a well-coordinated mechanism of specialists who every day support the viability of thousands of network resources. Each technical stage became part of our overall expertise.

Tests of strength

Over these years, there were different situations. There were purely technical challenges, and there were also external crises that directly affected the operation of hardware and communication channels. Such moments always require immediate decisions and the ability to work under complete uncertainty.

The recent period has become the most difficult and at the same time the most revealing. A sharp increase in load and work in extreme conditions forced us to review internal processes and invest even more in autonomy. The main result of this work – client websites continued to open, and business processes did not stop, regardless of what was happening around.

What stands behind this date

25 years is, first of all, an understanding that behind every line of code or server setting there is a real idea or someone’s business. Such a reputation cannot be bought or obtained quickly, it can only be built through daily responsibility. The stability of services has long ceased to be just a technical parameter for us, turning into a basic promise to the client.
